Ray Shaw - Chairman
imgBOD_Ray.jpg (3894 bytes) Dr. Ray Shaw, holds an honours degree in both physics and chemistry together with a PhD in chemical physics. After teaching at Monash University, Ray joined the Melbourne arm of the Silicon Valley based, Fortune 500 company, Varian, Inc. He held various technical and management positions in Melbourne before being transferred to the US to assume general management responsibilities, most notably that of Varian's large Nuclear Magnetic Resonance business unit. In 1999, when Varian split into three separate public companies, Ray oversaw the new company's information systems and worldwide facilities in addition to his continuing general management role. During his tenure in the US, he became very familiar with the operation and culture of small hi-tech companies such as Rectifier Technologies (acquiring four of them) while operating within the structure of a larger corporation. In 2002, Ray returned to Melbourne and brings a broad-based experience in managing high technology companies to the Rectifier Technologies Board.

Malcolm Duncan
imgBOD_Ray.jpg (3894 bytes) Mr. Malcolm Duncan is the former owner and Managing Director of Duvine Developments Limited whose assets were acquired, in 2006, to form what is now our UK subsidiary Rectifier Technologies (UK) Limited. In 1982 Malcolm co-founded Duvine Development to design and manufacture battery chargers and standby power supplies. The experience he had gained at Rank Xerox in the design of communications equipment and at Banner Electric in both the design of small UPS and the management of a small business (Director) allowed Duvine to quickly become a significant player in the UK DC power system market. Duvine became a major supplier to Cable & Wireless for network power systems, The Department of Transport for roadside power and British Rail for various trackside power applications. In order to maintain its product range with state of the art technology, in 2001, Duvine acquired licences to expand its range to include switch mode power supply products designed by Rectifier Technologies. In addition to his business acumen, Malcolm brings an impressive track record of direct experience in the European Telecommunications Industry to Rectifier Technologies as it expands its product offering in that market.

Tino Vescovi
imgBOD_Ray.jpg (3894 bytes) Mr. Tino Vescovi, holds a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in physics and electronics and a Master of Science majoring in electronics. Tino was a founding director of Rectifier Technologies Pacific Pty Ltd (RTP). Prior to founding RTP he was involved in the development of linear integrated circuit processes and devices for the manufacture of integrated circuits, design and development of mineral ore sorting equipment, large Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and a range of products including switch mode power supplies. Tino has been closely involved in RTP's product development program that has led the world in telecom power using switch mode technology. As the founder of RTP, Tino brings a significant amount of technical and business expertise to the Rectifier Technologies Board.
 
Wang Yingming

 

Mr.Wang Yingming, holds a Masters Degree in Science. As Managing Director of the Pudu Group, he has built up a range of technology and property businesses including Epern Telecom Co. Ltd., Beijing’s largest privately owned ISP and China Digital Kingdom an R&D company developing a new “intelligent consumer purchasing process” system for the burgeoning China consumer market.
