In bi-directional power transfer, energy stored in the battery of an EV can be exported to energise various loads in addition to powering the EV itself. An example of this is V2G where owners can charge their electric vehicles and then sell excess power to the grid. The Highbury DC Bi-directional Charger is being developed to meet the standards of V2G charging. We would like to hear from you if this is an area your business is interested in pursuing.

Battery capacities in EVs have increased to a size where on-board chargers (OBC) are becoming redundant as they no longer serve as the fail-safe device they once did. A low-powered DC charger in the absence of an OBC opens up possibilities for an optimised and cost effective charging chain. The Highbury DC Charger is being developed to be a standalone low-powered DC Charger. Contact us if this is an area your business is interested in pursuing.

The ICERT 1000 is a high performance battery charger and DC UPS, built up of modular switched
mode rectifiers and a control system. Its cutting edge technology provides high efficiency in a
compact package. The concept of modular power electronics means that the ICERT 1000 is easily
scalable in output, highly reliable (zero downtime) and reduces spare parts inventory.

In a Convection Cooled Power System, you will find RT4B convection cooled (no fans) switched mode rectifiers operating in parallel. Whilst fans can be optionally installed in the system, it is typically used without one to maintain a low audible noise environment suited to telecommunications and switch rooms.

The Wall Mount Power Systems are integrated with either RT9, RT11 or RT12 modules to offer a high-performance battery charger and DC UPS. Trusted for its extremely low field failure rate and have been proven in many critical & non-critical applications. These chargers are compact and suitable for wall mounting in industrial environments.

PACQ Powershelves are modular, fault-tolerant, compact DC power systems made up of switched-mode rectifier (SMR) modules. It comes in a wide selection of DC output voltages and in two scalable form-factors, 4U and 6U. These compact systems have been proven in many critical & non-critical applications including switch-tripping in substations, defence, scientific instruments, and more. Suitable for 19” racks of 400mm depth or greater.

The PACQ Flex’ion is optimized to charge FLEX’ION™ batteries (from SAFT). The battery is charged according to the levels from the BMS thus preventing over or under charging scenarios, literally giving the battery what it wants.

A CAN bus interface enables the communication between the PACQ charger and BMS of the Flex’ion battery.

The 50kW EV Charger Module is a high-efficiency AC-DC power module designed to charge electric vehicles (EVs) using DC from a 3-phase supply. Strategically sized at 50kW to suit desired charger power classes with a wide output range enables charging from 50 to 1000VDC to match any EV battery. RT22’s unique built-in reactive power control feature maintains stable grid voltage levels without additional network upgrades.

The RT12 module is a 2.4kW single phase, switched-mode rectifier known for its robustness and suitability for industrial applications. Its output voltages in 60VDC (output current de-rated), 120VDC and 240VDC are commonly used in substations as switch-tripping battery chargers. The addition of a MCSU-4 controller allows a sophisticated power system to be built with network connectivity and remote asset management features.

The RT18 is a single phase, high voltage switched mode rectifier offering high-reliability and high efficiency at 96%. It is suitable for applications such as Electric Vehicle Charging, Internet Data Center Power Systems and DC UPS. The additional of a MCSU-4 controller allows power system management with network connectivity and advanced rectifier sleep mode functionality for additional power saving.
